01Who we are
These terms are between you and Future Leaders Network Limited, trading as GlobalFutureNetwork ("GFN", "we", "us"), a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales under company number 12144242, with its registered office at 18 St. Cross Street, London EC1N 8UN, United Kingdom. They apply when you use globalfuturenetwork.com, apply for or book a place at the International Youth Leadership Dialogue 2027 ("IYLD 2027"), or buy any of our services. Our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
02The event
IYLD 2027 takes place in Manchester, United Kingdom, on 15 to 18 April 2027. We may change the programme, speakers, schedule or venue where needed. Important changes will be announced by email and on our website.
03Who can apply
- Applicants must be aged 16 to 45 on the first day of the event.
- Applicants under 18 need written consent from a parent or legal guardian, and must follow any extra safeguarding rules we set.
- Applicants of every nationality are welcome. Sessions are held in English, but no English test score is required.
- You must give true, complete and up to date information. One person may submit one application per category.
04Categories and what they include
Each category, its price and exactly what it includes and excludes are shown on our website and on your application page at the time you apply. In short:
- Fully Funded and Partially Funded are scholarship categories. Seats are limited and awarded on merit by our selection panel. The application processing fee does not guarantee a seat.
- Premium Access Pass guarantees a seat at the event. It does not include accommodation or airfare.
- Self Funded guarantees a seat and includes shared accommodation for the event. It does not include airfare.
- Official Invitation Letter is a personalised letter to support your visa application. It does not include a seat at the event unless you also hold a pass.
Unless your category says otherwise, you are responsible for visa fees, travel insurance, transport to and from the airport, personal expenses and anything not listed as included.
05Selection
Scholarship applications are assessed on leadership potential, social impact, motivation, achievements, communication and the diversity of the delegation. Results are announced on the date shown on our website. Selection decisions are final, and we do not have to give reasons for them. We may offer a different category or a waitlist place.
06Fees and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any taxes we are required to charge. Payment is taken through our payment provider at the end of your application. Your registration is confirmed only when payment has cleared. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the related registration or service.
07Visas and travel
You are responsible for obtaining a valid passport, visa and any travel documents you need. We can provide an invitation letter and supporting information, but visa decisions are made only by the authorities of the host country. We cannot influence or guarantee them. Visa refusal is covered in our Refund Policy.
08Conduct
We expect every participant to treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, violence, illegal activity, intoxication that disrupts the event, or behaviour that puts others at risk is not tolerated. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules from the event without a refund, and may refuse them future participation.
09Photos and filming
We photograph and film our events. By attending, you agree that you may appear in photos and videos that we use to report on and promote our work. If you would prefer not to be photographed, tell our team at registration and we will give you a marker so photographers can avoid you.
10Our content
Our name, logo, website content, programme materials and certificates belong to GFN. You may not copy, sell or alter them, or present yourself as representing GFN, without our written permission.
11Our responsibility to you
- We will provide the services in your category with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, by third parties such as airlines, hotels or embassies, or by your own actions.
- Our total liability to you in connection with an event is limited to the amount you paid us for it, except where the law does not allow this limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
- You are responsible for your own belongings, health and insurance during your trip.
12Cancellations and refunds

13Your personal data
We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and GDPR notice.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, please contact us first. If we cannot resolve it together, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and if you live outside the UK you keep any mandatory protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one in force when you made your payment, unless a change is required by law.
